Air Metro Helicopters currently provides powerline patrol
to Con Edison, Orange and Rockland Utilities and Central Hudson. We
also currently provide pipeline patrol for Amerada Hess. Air Metro
first started providing pipeline and powerline patrol in 1964. We
are also capable of infra-red services and emergency spill response.
The helicopters are equipped with emergency pop out floats and life
preservers for over water operations. Air Metro also provides video
services to New York Power Authority, i.e. flood plane in the Scoharie,
cable crossing in the Long Island Sound. |
